For each of us who loved our camp days, the memories are still vivid and special. Unfortunately, there are many kids who just do not have the opportunity to experience the magic of camp and this is something we can help to resolve.
Kids in Camp(KIC)is a registered charity that provides financial support for girls and boysin need to attend an accredited member camp of the Ontario Camps Association. Established in 2008, KIC has already supported1000campersto date. Now the challenge is to maintain the fundraising potential and we have a great plan for an April evening event.
OnThursday April 9th, join us for an eveningwith friends! Theevening will include supper, aspectacular Silent Auction and our Guest Speaker-Scott Russell from CBC Sports! His very appropriate address:“O CANADA: The Spirit of Sport!â€will be outstanding!Scott is an incredible speakerwhois as passionate about camp as he is about Sports and Canada! We are grateful that Scott is generously donating his time in support of KidsInCamp!
Thisamazing eventwill take place atSpirale’s-888 Don Mills Rd.Lots of free parking and a totally accessible site!Round up your current or old cabin-mates, your family and friends and join us in helping to sendmorekids to camp.

As you know Tanamakoon has its own Foundation-The Tanamakoon Charitable Foundation which supportsWomensandChildrenscauses. It is also a wonderful charity. However, this Charity funds girls and boys to go to any of the 300 OCA Camps. As you know Mary G was a founding member of the Ontario Camps Association.
