Neale Fellowship: Challenge Café
All semester, students from Prof. Christine Gould’s Nature and Needs of the Gifted course have been mentoring sixth graders at the "Challenge Café" in Mrs. Shelly Johnson's class at Bannach Elementary School. The project is part of the Oscar W. Neale Fellowship which engages advanced learners in enrichment activities, ranging from creating Kindergarten Buddy Books to constructing robotics designs to completing stock market simulations. UWSP repeats as national runner-up
For the second season in a row, the UW-Stevens Point men's hockey team finished as the national runner-up, falling 5-2 to Trinity in the NCAA Division III Championship game. The Pointers defeated Amherst in the semifinal, 6-2, to advance to the title game. Read More

Alumni couple returns for hearing tests
Alumni Lynne (Hanneman) Gibbs '69 and Kent Gibbs '68 returned to campus last week for hearing screenings. Lynne and Kent, who was the second male graduate of the program, met as communicative disorders undergrads and have been married for 47 years. Read More
