Great value Pinot from Marlborough. Berry scented, soft red fruits and nice smooth finish.
Wairarapa, of which Martinborough is a subregion, is to be found at the southern tip of the North Island. Not far from its neighbour on the South Island, Marlborough, the region has a similar climate and topograhpy but tends to produce more top quality red wines, usually from Pinot or Cabernet Sauvignon.
