Did you know a period revolution using visual art is in full swing right now? That's right I'm not the only artist working with menstrual blood or trying to elevate menstruation's public image! In fact, I've curated an entire collection of artwork exclusively looking at the menstrual cycle and reproductive justice. The show is called "Widening the Cycle" and will be on display for 3 days in Boston during the joint meeting of the Society for Menstrual Cycle Research and the Center for Women's Health & Human Rights. I couldn't ask for a better venue and am honored to make my curatorial debut with these two groups.
Can't join us in Boston? Have no fear, you can still see most of this amazing collection in the online gallery.
If you believe girls and women deserve a healthier, more positive perspective on periods, then please join me in the revolution and share "Widening the Cycle" with your friends on social media. Thank you! :-)
Also, if you're SUPER PASSIONATE about this topic like me and want to help bring the exhibit to life, please contact me. We're still looking for individual matrons, patrons and corporate sponsors. I'd love to have you join me as a partner in changing the world through art!

Menstrual Hygiene Day 2015
This year the organizers of Menstrual Hygiene Day have put together a Pop-Up Exhibit Toolkit for partners to host their very own consciousness raising exhibit, complete with artwork samples from "Widening the Cycle." As you can imagine, I'm thrilled to be a part of this awesome event!
