Artistic Director James Hainlen will lead the orchestra in an exploration of our cultural heritage through a diverse juxtaposition of music and poetry.  Film and radio composer Mark Orton will join the orchestra for the world premiere of his new string arrangement from his score in the 2005 film Sweet Land.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
