It's just about April, and Spring is here!...and it's snowing again. Well, I've got some sure fire remedies for those lingering winter blues - some red hot gigs, a special event and more. Read on, Macduff!
A last gasp for March! I've been invited to perform with this amazing group in NYC at the Bitter End, opening for Oz Noy. Featuring Beledo (guitar), Abe Fogle (drums) and Will Kenny (bass). I haven't played at the Bitter End since 1983! If you're around, come on out.

A celebration of Poetry and Music (Small Words) curated by Decora and Poet Gold with Special Guest, pianist, synthesist, Neil Alexander. Each week, artists and special guests will be announced on Facebook, two days before each performance. Keep checking in!
The 1st Tuesday of every month is the date for an ongoing Open Mic series at Dogwood in Beacon, hosted by the amazing Decora:Poet. Not your average open mic - you have to come down to see for yourself! I'll be popping beats and loops all night to back up all the various poets, artists, singers etc.
...Maybe even YOU.

If you love electronic music, then join us at the Newburgh Free Library for my monthlyElectronic Music Meetup "Wired Wednesdays", which is now on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. I'll be bringing in hands-on tech doing more focused presentations and featuring special guests. This month it's Essentials of the Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). I'm proud to be performing with Decora in this 2-day (Friday And Saturday) event at SUNY Purchase, featuring dozens of Alumni Choreographers, Artists and Musicians. We go on Saturday around 8 pm.

The ThunderHead Organ Trio continues their monthly residence at the Wherehouse in Newburgh on third thursday of every month with a show on Thursday April 16th. This month Neil is celebrating his 55th with back to back local gigs; this is the first. Be on the lookout for special guests to drop by. There's never a cover, so please come out and enjoy their awesome beer selection & great menu. As always, it's Joe Gil (trombone), Jason Furman (drums/sampler) and yours truly on keyboards; No Cover, a massive beer selection and the food is awesome. :) 8:00 pm!

I'll be celebrating my 55th birthday this month, and feeling serious amounts of grace and gratitude. I'd like to invite each and every one of ya to celebrate with me! I'll be joined by my very good friends Brian Mooney (bass) and Danny Pagan (drums) from the amazing "Piktor's Metamorphosis" project. We'll be playing my favorite killer High Energy Face-Melting Satori-inducing Jazz Fusion Classics with tunes by The Jan Hammer Group, Mahavishnu Orchestra, King Crimson, Jeff Beck and more.
After the first set it's the return of NAIL, as my old friends Charlie Kniceley (bass) and Nadav Snir-Zelniker (drums) accompany me on some of my original tunes. Then I'll be inviting some very special guests to join me and Rock the House until the wee hours. Be prepared to have a great time!
