A bumper package of Easter activities are on offer for all the family over the break, so why not indulge and enjoy a stay in Eden. The fields of the Eden Valley are full of cuddly spring lambs and the spring flowers are just coming into bloom. If you prefer a little more peace and quiet why not jump on your bike or take a walk in the Howgills Fells or alongside the meandering River Eden and don’t forget to stop at one of the cosy coffee shops or pubs and enjoy some delicious local food.

BBC1s The Antiques Roadshow
According to the BBC website The Antiques Roadshow from Lowther Castle and Gardens is due to be aired on 19th and 26th April on BBC1.
Recorded last year, the show proved very popular with hundreds of people taking along their antiques to be valued.

Eden Tourism Week in Eden had a successful launch.
This year we celebrated how important pubs are to the visitor experience, working with Eden Brewery to create a special English Tourism Week beer - 'Drover's Gold.'

Classic Commercial Vehicle Rally
Kirkby Stephen and Brough Classic Commercial Vehicle Rally will be held over the Easter weekend - 4th and 5th April.
One of the Highlights of the Eden events calendar, the rally has about 250 examples of commercial working vehicles from the last century displayed on about 7 site locations in the 2 towns.

The Pennine Way is 50 in April are there are lots of activities and events planned to celebrate.

Ride2stride Walking Festival
The Ride2stride Walking Festival - 28th April until 4th May - is a week long programme of walks, talks and music along the Settle to Carlisle railway line.
