Circle of Security Parent Workshop

SAT, APRIL 18 // 4:00-7:00P // GRACE COVENANT

The Circle of Security workshop is presented by Northstar Church on April 18 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. The workshop will take place at Grace Covenant Church on Shadowlake Drive in Blacksburg.

The New River Valley Community is invited to attend the “Circle of Security” workshop lead by Wanda Seagroves, LCSW, from the Ainsworth Attachment Clinic in Charlottesville, Virginia. The “Circle of Security”, developed by the Ainsworth Attachment Clinic, provides a road map for meeting the needs of children, and even adults! Please plan to attend this evening which will include the showing of the highly acclaimed movie, “The Dark Matter of Love” which is a documentary film of a family in Wisconsin who adopted 3 children from Russia. Senior Celebration

SUN, APRIL 19 // UNIVERSITY CLUB // 1:00P

Calling all college seniors! We want to celebrate your graduation accomplishments as well as equip you for your next phase of life. Join us for an afternoon of learning how to live out your faith in the workplace, with family and in your new community. We'll meet at the University Club for a catered lunch and discuss these topics through breakout sessions. Sessions include:

Send Off Sunday

Each year, many in our church prepare to move from Blacksburg through graduations, job transfers or other life transitions. If you’re a regular attender or member at Northstar and know that you’ll be leaving before August, we’d like to pray over you and “send you off” well. On that day, we’ll also be recognizing those who are participating in missions teams and trips over the summer! Please let us know by filling out this form.
