Welcome Spring!

From all of us at Tutor Eau Claire Dyslexia Resource Center...
We are extremely excited about the amazing things that are happening at Tutor EC!
God is providing beyond our wildest dreams as we continue to experience growth in the number of students we are serving, as well as community impact.  Tracey was even invited to the State House on March 19th to present a Dyslexia Simulation for some of our legislators!
Thanks to the support of the Academy of Columbia, Women in Philanthropy, St. Martin's in the Field, Eau Claire Presbyterian Church and many individuals, we are reaching more struggling readers and their families than ever before.

Grant Presentation from Women in Philanthropy

Multiple Grants Awarded to
Tutor Eau Claire!

On March 16th, David Laird of Central Carolina Community Foundation and Paula Thayer (far right) of Women in Philanthropy presented TutorEC with a grant in the amount of $7,500 as part of our Capacity Development Initiative.  These funds will help to cover the support of Program Manager, Betsy Halloran, in coordinating students, tutors and our Lexia web-based language therapy program.

Last week, we learned that TutorEC is also the recipient of St. Martins in the Field Cloak and Sword Foundation's grant.  Funds from this grant will be used to purchase much needed audio/visual equipment for the center that can also be transported to off-site parent and teacher workshops.

We continue to be thankful for the support of all of our supporters and funders who allow us to provide resources to struggling readers and their families.
