Owl Moon is Tim's newest Home and Garden inspiration. The mass atop this vertical design has many design challenges. This design is not only hard to execute, but equally hard to master, often avoided by many sculptors. Tim loves a good challenge and again displays in his own creative and artistic voice showing us why he loves to do the unique and different.
He accomplishes this design with the representation of a great horned owl on one side and a barn owl on the other. The moon and branch are design elements apparent on both sides.
Tim sculpted this piece to be viewed from below, which only enhances the viewers emotions of the subject matter. Technically Owl Moon is the best of all worlds, it can be ordered for a specific height to show well both indoors and or outdoors. The top also turns so that it can be viewed from all sides.
