Week 6
Saturday 9th May: 9am
Four years ago I wore my tutu to my first half marathon in Blenheim. There was my mate Dave and I and two of Cate;s awesome clients Lisa and Wendy. We booked a house in Waikawa Bay and enjoyed the event so much that we have returned each year with a few more LeapStars. This year we have a group of 48 runners, walkers and support crew in six houses in Waikawa Bay and Picton! It is going to be a fabulous weekend..
It all started with my first 5km walk, and that first walk, has led me to do something I love. I really am walking proof that the first step to making a positive change in your life right now can make a huge difference in your health and wellbeing.
Exercise like walking is considered a great choice for most people because it is easy, safe and inexpensive Making the first step can be the start of of moving forward.
This week I will be at St Clair Vineyard Half, walking proudly in my Tutu, I encourage you to step out and go for a walk, even if it is just around your block.
Next Week I will be back Marching for Endometriosis at the Rolleston Ave carpark in North Hagley Park at the bridge to the entrance of the gardens. 9am 16th May.
Look out for his Tutu!
Don't forget to bring your water bottle.
