Fund My Community is a $1m State Government grant program aimed at tackling disadvantage. It's a trial based on "participatory budgeting" - where the community helps to decide how the money is spent.
ARA has submitted an application for a new minibus called A Bus for Better Lives, so we can provide our services to a wider range of people, and to ensure that all of our clients can access services (not just ARA's!) in a safe manner. We'll also look at sharing our minibus with other community groups, making this purchase even more meaningful for the community. Ours is just one project which aims to meet the needs of multicultural communities, and therefore we need your help.
As this is a publicly voted grant fund, it's more important than ever that our supporters get behind us.
To support ours and other projects, please take the following steps:
Spend time browsing the projects and allocate $1m to the projects you believe are the most worthy. Don't forget to include our project!

The community assessment process concludes at 9am on Monday 4th May.
This is a wonderful opportunity for all South Australians to have their say in how the government spend their money, and so we actively encourage you to have your say.
