Following the success of Uncommon Grounds: New Media and Critical Practices in North Africa and the Middle East, I am pleased to announce that the second volume in the Visual Culture in North Africa and the Middle East Series that I have been project managing for Ibraaz, Dissonant Archives: Contemporary Visual Culture and Contested Narratives in the Middle East edited by Anthony Downey and published by Ibraaz and I.B. Tauris will be launched on 30 May 2015 in Tunis as part of JAOU conference (28–30 May 2015)
