Attention City of Petersburg Utility Billing Customers:
Over the last year, the City of Petersburg has been actively working with Johnson Control, Inc. to install and provide new water meters for all of our residents. The meters give a more accurate reading through the new automated meter reading system.

With this new advanced technology, the new system operates with a new billing schedule. Previously your usage was billed on a bi-monthly schedule. For example, for November and December usage, you were billed in February.

With the new monthly (30 day) billing schedule, you will begin to receive a bill each month to reflect 30 days of water usage.

CUSTOMER A: If you current April bill has a due date of May 13, 2015 your first monthly bill due date will be July 14, 2015 to reflect the usage of May 1 – 31, 2015.

CUSTOMER B: If your current April bill has a due date of May 15, 2015, your May bill due date will be June 17, 2015. This bill reflects the water usage of April 1 – 30, 2015.

All residents will be on the monthly billing schedule with the July 14, 2015 bill that reflects water usage of May 1 -31, 2015. Please see the below schedule or
CLICK HERE to view electronically, to reflect these new changes.

For any questions, please contact the Utility Billing office at (804)733-2349.
