Gas tax advances (AMENDED ARTICLE)

On Monday, LB 610, which will raise the motor fuel tax by 1.5 cents each year over the next four years (6 cents total) for roads and bridges infrastructure, passed the legislature's Select File vote, sending it back to E&R for the Final Reading. The Legislature will have another vote to pass it on to Gov. Ricketts. 

Gov. Ricketts has stated that if it reaches his desk he will veto the tax increase. It will take 30 senator votes to override the gubernatorial veto.

attending this Workforce Summit and Workshop.

  • Learn how to qualify and apply for the JD-NEG grant.
  • Fill out the pre-award information.
