“The Magical Forest : An Exhibition of Color”
Lori Levine has been painting intuitively ever since picking up the brush. With a clear mind and paints ready, the process starts.
“When you enter this exhibit, you are walking into an enchanted realm full of awe and wonder. As I start each forest, I focus on color and composition, letting the paintings come to life. In some paintings figures started to appear. I first saw this in my painting “Wood Spirit” where a spirit appeared standing next to a tree. As you view the paintings, you might wonder what is behind the next tree or down the path. You might ask where the unearthly glow is coming from or if you see a figure emerging from the light or something else. Occasionally, the trees appear to be alive and whispering amongst themselves. Each forest is a journey, a mystical place in which you can take a stroll to see what is beyond the next tree.”
