Introducing CIRMA's e-Learning Center, July 2015

Employee training is one of the most important parts of your risk management program. CIRMA's new e-Learning Center extends the reach of our Risk Management Training & Education programs, enabling employees to learn important safety topics--when and where their work schedule demands, from any computer or mobile device with internet access. CIRMA's e-Learning program is provided free as a benefit of your CIRMA Membership. The e-Learning Center will be available for registered users to begin training on July 1st, 2015.

The Training Programs for 2015
The e-Learning Center's course offerings for 2015 focus on three OSHA safety topics: Bloodborne Pathogens, Personal Protective Equipment, and the Globally Harmonized System. Additional topics may be added as our members’ training needs grow and change. The center is an ideal way to provide training to those employees whose work schedules or training needs limit their ability to attend traditional instructor-led training programs.

Tailored instruction for municipalities
The e-Learning Center's course content is tailored to municipal and public school employees. The instruction combines text, audio, graphics, and video to accommodate different learning styles. Each course usually requires no more than 30 minutes to complete; users will be issued a certificate upon successful completion of the course. An Administrative area enables Department Managers and HR staff to manage users and courses and monitor progress.

Getting started
As our Workers' Compensation Contact, you have been designated the Primary Administrator for the <<Primary Administrator for:>>.
If someone else in your organization should act as the Primary Administrator for the <<Primary Administrator for:>>, please send his or her contact information to our training partner at customerservice@localgovu.com.
As the Primary Administrator, you will be able to:
  • Set up additional Administrator accounts for your entity.
  • Register Users and manage training course assignments.
  • Generate training reports to monitor progress.
Next step: Account set-up
During the upcoming weeks, the Primary Administrator will be sent his or her Login Credentials, information on how to access the Center, register employees, and manage training.
