This Week at the Market...

Going local has never been easier, plan your grocery shopping for Wednesday evenings at Decatur Farmers Market and you will find everything you need for glorious cooking. Plus you can grab dinner from one of the many of the prepared food vendors at market before you shop, check out our featured vendor for a taste.

Decatur Wednesday market is open rain or shine from 4 to 7pm at the front lawn of the Decatur First Baptist Church. See you there!

Meet Your Vendor...

Naan Stop

Naan Stop is joining us for the first time this season, bringing original Indian recipes for a great meal at the market. They will be serving rice bowls, naan, samosas, mango lassi, chai and more!

"At NaanStop, we want to make Indian food accessible to everyone. All of our recipes have been passed down from our grandmother to our mom to us. We spent months in the kitchen with mom learning, watching, and translating recipes from “a little of this and a little of that” so we could bring authentic Indian home cooking to you."

Decatur Dine-Out

The Decatur Farmers Market is excited to support the Decatur Farm to School Dine Out on Wednesday, April 15! Decatur Farm to School is a branch of the Wylde Center that works to improve student nutrition and environmental awareness through programming in the classrooms, cafeterias, and gardens of the City Schools of Decatur.

Doggy Dogg, Queen of Cream, and King of Pops will be joining the list of participating restaurants around Decatur in offering 10% of their sales to Decatur Farm to School efforts on April 15th. Join them for dinner and dessert at the market and be sure to stop by Information Booth to meet representatives from Decatur Farm to School and learn more about their organization's work in our community!
