JOHN DIGWEED AND PAUL VAN DYK - SHOTS FIRED AT MAINSTAGE FESTIVAL AND EDM HEADLINERS
This week there was some huge topics and gossip flying around the internet, it all started of when famous Swedes Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell took a dig at the underground scene and the aftermath was as to be expected, ugly! Meanwhile legends Paul Van Dyke & Pete Tong fired of a few shots of their own at the current state of main-stage festival headliners and the whole EDM stagnant state of affairs we are currently experiencing. Were certain here at Bali Clubbing part 2 is only around the corner when someone from the receiving end fires a few back of their own.

MIAMI NOIZE VOLUME 6

Simon Patterson is a elitist amongst the trance community and when his name is attached to anything you know its of the highest quality. With the whole 140bpm style now in fashion you know Simon's been pushing it since day 1 sticking to his guns and now has come out on top. But wait thats not all! Ministry of Sound CDs are of the highest honor for any DJ or producer to have their name attached to so its of no surprise that our album of the week comes from two names that just ooze quality.

Deep Down Low

We first stumbled across this release from tuning into a live broadcast from Ultra Music festival in Miami a week or so back and instantly reached for Shazam! Little did we know that at the same time it was one of the most Shazamed songs on a global scale due to its impact from the famed festivals webcast. Fast forward a week later and this track is popping up everywhere including our speakers on daily rotation. Lets get Deep Down LOW! Click here

IN THE STUDIO WITH PHIL KIERAN

Phil Kieren is no stranger to late night techno clubs and making music to match. The Belfast native has been at the top of his game for a more than a decade and continues to reinvent what cuts it globally when it comes to making music that demands respect. When he isn't working on cutting edge techno he is up to all sorts of other project behind the scene. Want to know more and what makes one of favorite underground producers tick? We sure did and managed to source this great interview ahead of his Bali show tonight at Koh. Check here >>
FUTURE MUSIC FESTIVAL WILL NOT RETURN IN 2016

Another week and another massive loss to the scene and circuit. Could this be a massive win to the club industry after the losses it has been taking due to festival overload? Either way DJs, Clubbers and promoters were more than gobsmacked when late last week iconic Australian and Asian festival Future Music announced they have called it a day. We can make our own decision on why they made the call after numerous issues especially in Asia over the past couple of year but one thing is certain, 2016 will not see Future Music Festival return. 808 (2015) SXSW FILM REVIEW

The 808 is as part of the music industry as is Frankie Knuckles. When it comes to music production the 808 drum machine can be heard in almost every tune dating back to electronic music production day dot. Even if your’e not a music buff or you hate documentaries I think this will still be a film that you can and will enjoy. It’s a piece of western culture with American, British and European influence, there is so much to take in but it’s all so good you will be better for it.
