“The Home of Sustainable Construction in Cornwall”

Re-scheduled Supper Evening, GBH Tour & Progress update.

5th May 2015 supper served from 6.30pm in Eden Gallery - early reservation recommended.

This is a special supper evening where we will showing you the great progress made on The Green Build Hub and our proposals for the final fit out and opening event. We will also be giving you a summary of future events and opportunities, including this year’s Green Build Cornwall event and the official opening of the GBH in July.

We are undertaking the fit-out of the building ourselves in partnership with a group of students from Falmouth University Product Design course, Exeter University Interior Design course and some great voluntary guidance from Elina Grigoriou, from Grigoriou Interiors.

Free Site visit opportunity

Supper guests wishing to visit the Green Build Hub site before supper should let CSBT know when booking so that parking and a tour can be arranged. Green Build Hub Main Space

Green Build Hub - March 2015 Update

Its been a very busy month for our contractors and they are progressing well, the walls are now lined with Fermacell board and have been dry lined ready for painting and to receive our surface fixed M&E installation. The internal scaffolding has been taking down to free up space to work in the main atrium and the external Cornish cedar cladding is nearly completed.

M&E installation has started onsite, Rationel timber framed triple glazed windows are nearly all fitted and training is taking place in the hub already, including lime plaster and clay plaster demonstration plus students on work experience learning from the build.

Design work started on final fit out with CSBT team and Cornwall Students

By the time of the 5th of May Supper the scaffold will be removed to finally reveal our beautiful building.
