International focus of agri-tech event

Marches businesses interested in the agri-tech sector, its supply chain and opportunities overseas are being invited to an event next month.

The UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) and Harper Adams University event coincides with Export Week and the World Expo 2015 in Milan, where the UK’s theme is 'Grown in Britain & Northern Ireland'.

Free to attend, the half-day seminar is aimed at the regional business community in the Marches and beyond, to explore opportunities that have been identified for the agri-tech sector and its supply chain.

Congratulations to Marches companies Thermserve and Prometheus Medical after they both scooped the highest honour given to UK businesses.

Thermserve in Telford, and Leominster-based Prometheus Medical, received a Queen's Award for Enterprise.

2015 COGS Conference

This year’s COGS conference will be held at Shrewsbury Town Football club 3pm to 7pm on June 15.
