April - June 2015. Jennifer's  Tai Chi Schedule and Healthy Tips and Ideas to Enhance Your Life.

The Balanced Body
Simple and Natural Solutions for Healthy Living.

A Note from Jennifer

Dear Friends,

Happy Spring! Have you had a chance to listen to the birds, watch the flowers bloom, and enjoy the baby animals testing their new wings and legs?

I always feel a sense of renewal when spring arrives. This feeling inspires me to look for additional ways to lead a lifestyle that supports good health, the environment, and those around me.

My teacher, Master Jou Tsung Hwa wisely stated, “The simplest is the highest”. These words have a rich and deep meaning for me. They remind me to simplify or “spring clean” my lifestyle, my behavior, and more importantly, my thoughts. His words encourage me to live each moment to it's fullest.

Please enjoy this season’s newsletter full healthy tips and opportunities to “spring clean” your home, take care of yourself, see the world anew, and have some fun. Enjoy!

Peace and Love,

Jennifer

Give Yourself a Dose of Sunshine

Vitamin D comes from the sun and protects us from many diseases, including some types of cancers. Most of us only get half of our daily dose! So expose your arms and legs with no sunscreen for just 15 minutes daily (weather permitting). You will be amazed how your daily dose of sun will boost your mood and energy levels.

This is an amazing diet that will enhance the quality of your life immediately.

Go Ahead - Play in the Dirt...

Go outside and get dirty. Many of us spend too much time indoors breathing recycled, processed air and disinfecting everything we touch. We actually need microbes from the outdoors to keep our immune systems strong. So go outside and dig in the dirt, play in the sand, and sit on the ground and watch the clouds go by and picnic. You will feel better and improve your health and immunity.
