Are You Up-to-Date?

To help verify if your Microsoft Dynamics SL system is up-to-date, here are the current release version numbers:
  • Dynamics SL 2011 Service Pack 2:  8.12.40821.00
  • Management Reporter 2012:  2.1.9001.11
From the Microsoft Dynamics SL menu, select ‘Help’ | ‘About’.  This will display a screen showing the Microsoft version and build number.  The build is an indicator of which hot fixes and/or service packs are installed.

To help in the process of identifying your specific build,   Microsoft has created a Knowledge Base article that lists all of the versions and builds for Microsoft Dynamics SL. You must have a login to Customer Source in order to view the document. TechKnowledge Document ID: 18682 – this includes all versions and builds from SL 6.5 to current.

To determine the version of Microsoft Management Reporter, start Microsoft Management Reporter. On the Help menu, click About Management Reporter.

Compatibility between various versions of Microsoft Dynamics SL and Management Reporter should be verified.  If you need help or are interested in applying the latest Service Pack for Dynamics SL or Management Reporter, contact us.
