Thank you for joining us last week as Pastor Victor concluded our three-week series The Life God Desires for You. This Sunday, April 26th, there will be no morning gathering. Instead, The Point will be joining the UniverCity Community in their 7th Annual Community Clean-Up, followed by lunch and a short devotional at the Thomas' at 12:00pm. This Sunday morning, please meet us at the entrance of University Highlands Elementary at 10:00am. There will also be a time of prayer for those leaving and going home for the summer. We are looking forward to seeing you outside of University Highlands Elementary School on Sunday morning!
Join us this Sunday, April 26, as we help out with the annual community cleanup then have a potluck lunch and devotion together at Pastor Victor's house in UniverCity.
This will be a great opportunity to connect with and serve our community and everyone is invited to come along!"
Point Property Purchase - We Surpassed Our Goal!! Thank you to everyone who prayed for, and contributed to the purchase of The Point's Church Planting Hub House! We raised over $10,000 dollars towards the purchase! Thank you, and praise God for how he has provided! Update from Pastor Victor:
"First and foremost, thank you! We raised $10,398 towards the purchase of the property. I'm so proud that so many of you have stepped up and pledged to make this key part of our 20/20 Vision a reality. We are still trying to raise another $185,000. Many of you have already generously given, and while we are not quite at our ultimate goal, there is some good news. Pastor Victor spoke with the owner of the house yesterday and he is considering taking the house off the market in two weeks, giving us more time to raise the remainder of the funds. The property is currently available to anyone, but the owner would still like it to go to "religious people." I feel at peace, and will continue to trust God in all of this, doing my best to get the word out to potential partners about the property, and I encourage you to do the same.
