New Office Update - Timeline pushed back
If you haven't heard already, we hope to start construction on our new location this summer or fall. We received a low appraisal on the completed project so we are looking at options of how to make it work. Welcome to living in Jackson! :)

Congratulations to our Tigers Opening Day Ticket Winner!

Congratulations to Steve Sears! His photo entry was randomly selected and he won 4 tickets to Tiger's Opening Day. He and his family enjoyed a fabulous experience watching the Tigers shut out the Minnesota Twins. We were so happy to be able to help Steve attend his first Opening Day with his "best gal"!

Big Brothers Big Sister Bowl for Kids Sake

Richmond Brothers is proud to support kids mentoring relationships in Jackson County. A few weeks ago, a group of our staff (the "Richmond Strikers") participated in the Big Brothers Big

Sisters Bowl for Kids' Sake. We had a blast while supporting a great cause. This is just another way we live out our core values.

Mediterranean Avocado Salad Bowl

3/4 lbs tomatoes, seeded, quartered
2 cups diced seeded peeled cucumber
1/2 green pepper, thinly sliced
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1 tsp capers
3 Tbs Extra Virgin olive oil
1 1/2 Tbs red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp fresh or dried oregano
1/4 cup fresh Feta cheese
6-8 pitted Kalamata olives
3 ripe avocados, halved with pits removed

Directions:

Cut all the ingredients except the avocados and olives into pieces and place in a bowl.
Half the avocados and remove pits. Gently arrange inside each avocado half the tomatoes first, then the onion, pepper, cucumber and lastly the Feta cheese. Garnish with the pitted olives.
Before serving, sprinkle with oregano, salt, olive oil and red wine vinegar. Recipe courtesy of Mindy's Meals on Heels
