Dear RHSRNbc members,

What a busy month it's been!  The Rural Generalist Summit and the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada's Rural and Remote Medicine Course was held last week in Montreal.  Both events were a huge success with over 800 attendees from rural communities and practices across the country.  The Network assisted with the planning of the Rural Generalist Summit and exhibited at the conference while Dr. Stefan Grzybowski, RHSRNbc Director, delivered several presentations and workshops, including a very engaging workshop on developing a research question.  Overall, both the summit and conference were wonderful events, highlighting both the innovation and remarkable leadership in our rural medical communities.

Items on RHSRNbc's agenda for the next month include the organization of a rural health services symposium in Vancouver, bringing researchers across BC and Australian colleagues together.  We are also in the process of finalizing our new website - stay tuned for our big reveal in May.

There are some great events happening in May, including the Rural Emergency Continuum of Care (RECC) Conference in Penticton - I really encourage you to check them out and get involved.

Happy reading!

Warm regards,
Emily Ryan, Network Coordinator
