In private markets, you can bury the dead quietly
Last week, I had the privilege of giving the keynote speech at the Quebec Venture Capital and Private Equity Association conference. Thank you btw to Chris Arsenault, Managing Partner at iNovia Capital, for the invite.
My talk entitled Bubbles, Unicorns and Our Crazy Private Markets offered a data-driven perspective into whether we're in a bubble or not. It offers evidence on both sides so there is plenty of proof for you irrespective of your view. For the record, despite the frothiness, we don't think we're in a bubble.
You'll also never see unicorns in the same way again after viewing this presentation.
