April, 2015 Newsletter

I'm Elizabeth—wife to Mr. Tall, Dark and Handsome, mom to the four Thompson Crazies, writer of books and blogs and grocery lists and lists of 13—and I look forward to sharing some of the wacky wonderfulness of family life together.
It's spring in North Carolina, and the dogwoods and azaleas are trying to outshine each other. We've battled more than our fair share of crazy childhood illnesses this winter—flu, strep throat, CMV (it's like mono, ugh), even Scarlet Fever—so the Crazies are very glad to see spring here at last.

First month news
The new LizzyLife website had an exciting first month—7,000 hits by 5,000 different people! I call that a fantastic start. Thank you for being a part of the site from its very beginning. Thank you to all of you who shared the site with your family and friends—nothing says "I love you" in Writer Speak like a share! I hope you find the site a continued source of encouragement, practical parenting help, and lots of good laughs.
