Student research on exercise benefits local older adults
Athletic training students created a program of exercises for some local senior citizens to perform twice a week for 30 minutes. Their program involved a research study that included exercises to help minimize the risk of falls. The students will present their research next week at the UW System Posters in the Rotunda. IA students take part in Chicago study tour
UW-Stevens Point interior architecture students traveled to Chicago as a part of a study tour. The trip included visits to Juno Lighting, Farnsworth House, the Ruth Ford Residence, Frank Lloyd Wright’s home and studio, Unity Temple, Merchandise Mart and Millennium Park, as well as two internationally prominent design firms, the Gettys Group and CannonDesign.
