The HOMEbody Symposium
In just under a month, I'll be heading east to Fredericton for The HOMEbody Symposium - a special performance and public engagement initiative presented by Atlantic Ballet Theatre and ArtsLinkNB at the Fredericton Playhouse.

Inspired by my 2012 production HOMEbody - lessons in prairie living, the symposium will bring together entrepreneurs, thought-leaders, students, artists, academics, social enterprises and industry specialists from across the province to share stories and exchange ideas about how to make New Brunswick a great place to call home.

This day-long, bilingual event with feature many special guests including Chairman & Co-CEO of Oxford Foods and President, Owner/Founder of Eastlink, John Bragg; Director of the Canadian Institute for Research on Public Policy and Public Administration Richard Saillant; and award-winning artist and author of 'This Is My Country, What's Yours?', Noah Richler.

The day’s dialogue will culminate in the creation of a new story of why New Brunswick is a great place to live, work, innovate and create. Following the symposium, guests will take in a special presentation of HOMEbody - lessons in prairie living at the Fredericton Playhouse.

I'm thrilled that HOMEbody has become a catalyst for community dialogue about the importance of home. This unique event is a testament to the ways in which art can inspire the coming together of community and lead important conversations about our collective social, cultural and economic future. I am grateful for the leadership and tremendous support of Atlantic Ballet Theatre and ArtsLinkNB in bringing this event to fruition.

If you're interested in being part of the conversation, please join us on May 6th as we engage in the collective creation of a bright future for New Brunswick! Tickets are also available separately for the evening performance.
