Joseph Rietman, CPC Named AIC National President
The AIC is proud to announce that Joseph Rietman, CPC has been named it's National President.
Mr. Rietman, currently with Westfield Development in San Diego, CA, previously served as the AIC’s Vice-President, as well as on the AIC’s Constructor Certification Commission’s Board of Governors. His term as National President began April 2015 and will run through April 2016, concluding at the 2016 AIC Annual Forum which will be held in Mr. Rietman’s home town of San Diego, CA. Joe has been a member of the AIC for over 17 years and a Certified Professional Constructor for 5 years.
Assuming other elected positions within the AIC include:
Vice-President Gregory Carender, CPC of PricewaterhouseCoopers of Atlanta, GA
Secretary David Dominguez, CPC, Project Manager with Ryan Companies in Des Moines, IA
Treasurer Bradley Monson, CPC, Capital Construction Project Manager with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Denver, CO
Outgoing President Paul Mattingly remarked “Joe will provide great leadership to the AIC over the next year. He has a vision and passion for the AIC that will translate into great success for this organization.â€
Also joining the Board of Directors is Ihab Saad, Department Chair at Northern Kentucky University and James Hogan, CPC of Houston Based PBK. Gregory Carender and Saeed Goodman were each elected to a second term on the Board of Directors as well.
Dennis Bausman, FAIC, CPC Named Chairman of the AIC Constructor Certification Commission
In addition, Dennis Bausman, FAIC, CPC has been named as the Chair of its Constructor Certification Commission’s Board of Governors.
The Board of Governors is responsible for the AIC’s nationally recognized and Accredited Certified Professional Constructor and Associate Constructor certification programs. Bausman, Professor and CSM Endowed Faculty Chair at Clemson University, has been a longtime member and elected leader within the AIC. He has been the recipient of the AIC’s W.A. Klinger Construction Education Award as well as the AGC of America’s National Outstanding Educator Award. He is currently a member of the AIC’s College of Fellows, the highest level of membership within the Institute. His term as Chair will run until April 2017.
