Neptune Live at AXPONA for the First Time

30 years ago, I pioneered the first, fluid-shielded cable. Nicknamed the "Texas Water Cable" (back in about 1986), the Aqueous was something no one had seen before. Its design helped revolutionize the way we think about things like EMI and RF reduction, noise filtration, and even vibration reduction in our systems. At the time, I was considered a little crazy.

Today, I am proud to present the Neptune's first, live demo at a trade show. The Neptune represents the new pinnacle of our fluid cable lines. 30 years' of experience has gone into its design, in an era where we now talk about things like noise filtration and EMI reduction. If you would like to give them a listen, we will be showcasing the:
  • Neptune Balanced
  • Neptune Speaker
  • Neptune RCA
...in Chicago.

If you would like to give them a try, please contact one of our dealers. They are great folk, and I am pleased to work with them. Maybe ask them about the "Texas Water Cable."

3 Reasons to Love Chicago

One reason why I look forward to Chicago every year is, of course, the pizza. Chicago deep dish is iconic, and what better place than Gino's East? Not visiting Gino's East sounds like blasphemy, but the truth is we're often so busy that the best Kim and I have been able to manage is an in-house order during teardown. That iconic taste of Chicago is one of the things that makes all of the prep work, from checking and rechecking room components to choosing just the right music, worth it.

From rock, to pop, to blues and jazz, Chicago's music its other hallmark. It makes it a perfect location for an audio show. If you have time after the show, the Kingston Mines jazz club possess two live stages. Kim and I go there to see artists such as Carl Weathersby and Joanna Connor. We love Chicago's atmosphere.

Maybe I'll get my pizza this year. Maybe I'll get to Kingston. But at least I know I'll get to see all of you at the show. In the end, that's what makes Chicago worthwhile, to me.
