This Friday through Sunday, The Peninsula Players Present "Last Of The Red Hot Lovers" opening at the Berwick Theatre (4680 Elk Lake Drive in Victoria), and the Charlie White Theatre May 15-17th.

Shakespeare's first review wasn't a very good one. Robert Greene published a pamphlet describing him as "an upstart crow". 

Frank Matcham, the designer of more than 160 theatres including the London Palladium and London Coliseum, never qualified as an architect. 

In early 20th century Hollywood it was not unusual to see hotels and houses with the sign "No Dogs & No Actors"

Description
The evil Galactic Empire has devised the ultimate weapon:  A LoveBbot!  Come join us at our sixth annual summer musical extravaganza, "Space Wars:  The Empire Strikes Blanc", written by Sasha Moriarty-Schieven with music adapted from many sources.

Performances are:
Saturdays, July 11 & 18, August 15 & 29 (curtain 7:30pm)
Sundays July 19, August 16 & 30 (curtain 3pm)

Performances are on the Ortega Terrace at:

In 1807 Thomas Bowdler published a family friendly version of Shakespeare's King Lear with a happy ending. 

Longest running play “The Mousetrap” started life as a radio play called “3 Blind Mice”, written as a present for Queen Mary's 80th Birthday.
