May News from LifeWay Network
Dear Friend of LifeWay Network,

We are happy to bring you the latest news from LifeWay Network:

This Month at LifeWay Network

LifeWay Safe House CommunityAs we celebrated Mother’s Day, we acknowledged our mothers, and all who have played the role of a mother in providing the nurturing and support that helps us flourish. A special bond with a nurturing adult is an experience everyone should ideally have in their lives, but sadly that is not always the case.

This brings us to reflect on the special bonds that the three religious sisters who form the host community at LifeWay House develop with the women trafficking survivors who reside there. Along with our committed volunteers, they provide the women with special care and love that makes such a profound difference during their time together.

Whether it is through tutoring and mentoring, the learning of life skills, the sharing of life wisdom, simple words of encouragement, or a reassuring hug, the host community and volunteers create a supportive environment that empowers the women as they reclaim their lives.

We treasure our host community and safe house volunteers, and thank them for this vital difference they make in the lives of the women survivors at LifeWay House as they transition towards reclaiming their independence.
