Defeating Cancer with Optimism: Student Earns CPS Heroes Award
Alysa Firkus '15 was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma during her second semester in the School of Communicative Disorders master’s program. During her summer semester in July 2014, she found out her treatments were successful and she was cancer free!
