Sunday's Message: "Lunch"
John 6:1-15
"A Present God"
When John wrote his version of the story of Jesus, he described Jesus performing seven miracles. He references that there were many more, but he focused his attention on those seven. Each miracle is an unique and intentional story of Jesus being present in the circumstancees of someone's life. In our Spring Sermon Series, we will explore each of these signs of Jesus' power, care, creativity, and investment in the lives of those he encountered. What we hope to discover in these stories of God's power in the lives of the people in these stories, is the present power of God in our own lives.

Short Term Missions Funds
PHCC has a fund established for the purpose of encouraging youth and adults of the congregation to experience missions first hand. You can find mission opportunities at www.covmerge.org. Mission trips outside of the Covenant are welcomed as well. Contact the Missions Committee or the church office to apply with details of the mission including date, length, cost, etc. You may contribute to the Short Term Missions Fund through the offering at PHCC.

Brief History Facts of our Church
We are a church! Now it's time for a building. The Northwest Mission Association had purchased some lots on the corner of Minnesota and 30th on June 1, 1945. Those lots were turned over to the church and a building committee was selected. Hill & Froelick Construction Company was hired to build. The ground breaking was held on June 17, 1945. C.I. Styrlund, the chairman, turned the first spadeful of soil.
If you would like to know more about Prairie Hills church history, the history of the Covenant church or the history of Christianity, there is a new section in our library dedicated to these areas!
