Foreign Service Information Management Specialist

Kennedy Scholarship

Every year, the Kennedy Center awards scholarships to students who exemplify the values and ideals of the Kennedy Center. In order to receive the award, students must demonstrate their commitment to international involvement and to the Kennedy Center. Please fill out the application and e-mail it to kennedycenter@byu.edu by the deadline.

NEW USAID Democracy Fellowship, Part-Time Democracy Evaluator

Application deadline: Sunday, 10 May

USAID Democracy is now recruiting for a part-time USAID Democracy Fellow to serve as co-Principal Investigator (PI) for an impact evaluation of the Momavlis Taoba (MT) civic education project, funded by USAID/Caucasus (Georgia) and implemented by PH International. The main objectives of the MT project are to promote greater civic engagement of young people and to expand and institutionalize secondary school civic education curricula and practical applications. The project will reach 480 secondary schools (or 20 percent of all secondary schools) in Georgia. The project was initiated in 2014 and concludes in October 2017. Daily rate will be commensurate with compensation history. Franklin Fellows Program

Application deadline: Friday, 15 May

In support of the Secretary of State’s Shared Prosperity economic diplomacy initiative, there is particular interest now in applicants with expertise in macroeconomics, small business growth and management, regional trade and investment, innovation and entrepreneurship, economic sanctions policy, banking and international finance, energy, petroleum and petrochemicals, environment and climate, Internet governance, and science and technology. Internship Position at the Peruvian Consulate in Utah

Application deadline: Open Until Filled

Currently, we are seeking two interns. The interns’ primary job will be to aid the consulate and the honorary consul in taking care of the needs of the Peruvian community in the State of Utah as well as promoting commerce, education, culture, humanitarian efforts, and government relations. This internship would be of particular interest for those in the Latin American studies majors or who may be angling for a career in diplomacy or in immigration law.
