How well do you know your visitors?

If you want to get to grips with who’s coming to Bournemouth, how much they spend and what they do when they’re here, take a look at the latest Visitor Survey on our Resource Hub.

In addition to giving the total number of visitors and what tourism is worth, it offers a wider perspective. Overseas visitors, for example, might comprise a smaller share of the market, but they stay an average of 7.9 nights whereas domestic guests stay 2.9 nights

A warmer Welcome!

It’s challenging trying to respond to a dozen different questions at a busy reception desk. To help, we’ve published a new Welcome to Bournemouth handbook stocked with at-a-glance information on the town and its surroundings. Aside from things to do and see, it gives snap-shot details on events like Wheels, all weather activities and how to get around.

Train the Trainer

If you’re blessed with accomplished, experienced employees, don’t let them go to waste!  Make sure their skills cascade to the next generation and best practice continues smoothly in your business.

We’re offering a Training Skills for Managers course on 15 June at The Green House Hotel, Bournemouth, subsidised at £50 for the day. Please book your place by 8 June.

The power of social media as an essential marketing tool is no longer disputed but it can still be a minefield. To help, we’re offering a FREE two hour introduction, Social Media – Building Awareness and Loyalty on 4 June at The Hermitage Hotel, Bournemouth.  Marketing expert Jim Hardcastle will outline the best options for building relationships with existing customers and attract new ones.

Book your place  on either of these course by contacting Jacky Thorne.

Future looks good!
