Wildflower Hike on Green Mountain
National Trails Day is Saturday, June 6

Join us for a volunteer trail project at William Frederick Hayden Park at Green Mountain in partnership with the Colorado Mountain Bike Association. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Register here.

We are now taking camping reservations for the 2015 season. The park offers 47 campsites, three cabins, two yurts and a group area.

Registration is open for Passport to the Parks! Grab a friend, family member or a furry friend to walk, run, bike and play in as many Lakewood parks as you can now through September.
Angling towards a fun summer? Join us for these upcoming fishing events! 
 
June 6 - FREE - Let's Go Fishing!
Join park naturalists and the Colorado Division of Wildlife at the Stone House Shelter and learn the basics of fishing. We will learn about types of fish, bait, fishing ethics and how to catch the big one. Event details here. 

June 20 - Annual Trout Fishing Tournament

Cast your line and reel in the big one at the Bear Creek Lake Park trout fishing tournament! This is a team event; at least one team member must be age 18 or older. There will be cash prizes for first, second and third place. View event details
