Three Spring Boat Start-Up Tips
|

Boating season is right around the corner. Here's a few helpful tips to make sure your boat is ready.
1. Inspect the fuel system to ensure the fuel hoses, connections and tank surfaces don't have any leaks or damage.
2. Check belts, cables and hoses to ensure they didn't crack during winter storage. Belts should fit tightly around pulleys to prevent slipping.
3. Look before you pump. Don't fill your tank with fuel that contains more than 10% ethanol (E10) as it will damage your engine.

Our April team highlight is Mr. Kevin Enter. Kevin is our representative from Hewitt Machine & Manufacturing, Inc. Kevin is born and raised in lake country - Minnesota. He and his wife have two daughters and live in Mankato, MN - just a short 15 minute drive from Hewitt's headquarters in Nicollet. Kevin is a true outdoorsmen and enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time. We're very grateful for the work Kevin puts in to support us both at boat shows and with helping us with the overall Hewitt product line.
