Job Opportunity at Brushland Eating House in Bovina Center

Brushland Eating House is a 30 seat restaurant, nestled in the northwest pocket of the Catskills, and is looking to expand their staff for the busy summer.

From the Restaurant:
Our menu is a reflection of the region and the great beef, pork, dairy, vegetables and foraged products that come from this land. We serve comforting food that is simple yet inspired, like time-tested roast chicken and hand-rolled pasta. We make (almost) everything ourselves here in the kitchen, from baking our own buns and baguette, to whipping up dressings, simmering sauces and crafting desserts.

We are need of both front-of-house (outgoing, courteous folks with a love of food & a willingness to learn and talk about our dishes, beer & wine to the lovely customers we serve) and back-of-house (no experience necessary! Just an affinity for learning and a desire to prep and cook delicious food)

Who we are looking for:

Eager, enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a passion for the food industry. A willingness to learn, the ability to effectively communicate and work with other teammates, and a sense of responsibility a must. Punctuality and dependability is very important as our season will be a busy one and each member of the kitchen relies on one another. Reliable transportation to and from work is also necessary; Bovina is the perfect place to spend a summer, especially for someone wanting a change of scenery for a bit. For anyone wanting to make the move up here, we will certainly share our contacts and help anyway we can, although a car (or other form of wheels) is a must.

Now what?

Send your resume and a short introduction. We will be in touch shortly!
