RIGHT TO BE FREE
Rescue        Rehabilitate      Reintegrate

This month, Eric Peasah traveled to Sunyani, a city located 200 miles northwest of Accra (capital of Ghana), to visit ten children who were rescued last year. The children attend the Don Bosco Roman Catholic School or the Methodist LA School. Both are boarding schools, which Ghanaian children typically attend since schools are often located far from their villages. The children are doing very well. They are happy, healthy and safe.

Fenuku's New Wheels
Last month we featured Fenuku, a boy that was rescued in 2008. We showed this photo of his worn shoes, which he had outgrown, walking many miles to and from school. Thanks to a generous donor, Eric purchased a used mountain bike for Fenuku. Surprisingly, good quality bicycles and shoes are quite expensive because they are imported from the U.S. and Europe. Since the average Ghanaian earns less than $3 per day, a used mountain bike is a luxury that many cannot afford.
Fenuku loves his mountain bike and new shoes.

These rescued children are free from the oppressive and dangerous conditions that limited their opportunities for learning and perpetuated the cycle of poverty. As a small grass roots organization, Right To Be Free is on the front lines combating human trafficking and rescuing marginalized children who are often forgotten and feel invisible. By securing their freedom and placing them in school, these children have an opportunity to be the first generation in their families to receive a formal education. Every child has the right to be free, to obtain an education, to be healthy and safe. Regardless of their circumstances, all children have great potential. Please help us save a child's life and future by making a tax deductible donation. Without the support of our donors, we cannot continue to sustain our work. Thank you for your compassion.
