Michael Ruh, the glassblower opposite me, is on BBC4 on Mon 4^th May at 9pm, making a jug. There's a 5minute taster on iPlayer already. They are open 9/10 May 2015.

The West Dean Design and Craft Show is 19-21 June. It's a great setting, a beautiful park, spreading cedars, vintage tea in marquees. There are extra events and workshops - book early, they go fast. It's the biennial Wood Show at the Weald and Downland Museum the same weekend - it's just over the hill.

I've been using Welsh text for Caernarvon, a 14^th century Welsh poem 'Yr Wylan' / 'The Seagull', by Wales' most famous poet Dafydd ap Gwilym. It always reminds me of the seagulls wheeling over Conwy Castle, while I looked out over the estuary, standing on our back wall, which was huge: part of the Edward I town walls. I've animated some of the pots so you can see them all the way round, here on my website.
