Many congratulations to the distinguished news presenter, journalist and accomplished corporate host, Jon Snow, who has just been honoured with a fellowship at this year's TV BAFTA awards. The distinction is the highest accolade at the Bafta awards and was presented to Jon for "outstanding and exceptional contribution" to the film and TV industry. The latest award follows his Richard Dimbleby award for factual contribution to TV plus several RTS prestigious awards. Jon received his award on Sunday from fellow corporate favourite, Rory Bremner, at the Theatre Royal. Bafta's chair, Anne Morrison, comments: "With his innate ability to engage with audiences … Jon is an inspiration across the industry and a very worthy recipient of this year's fellowship."
