Hi again! I've enjoyed gathering a new pile of "scraps" for you. And since a few readers have mentioned it, I think scraps will be a topic for next time. But for today, I'm sharing some new inspiration I'm following, several tutorials and a product review, plus a hand-quilting round-up. Enjoy!
WHAT'S UP
With the recent Giveaway Day and who knows what else, I've found several new quilty-types to follow, on a variety of social media:
and I happened upon Kelsey's Lovely and Enough and it was like a moment of calm. She calls her blog her "breath of fresh air," and for a moment, it was mine as well.
WORTH A READ
Having used foam stabilizer just a few times, I was wondering how the market products compared, and Cindy/Raspberry Sunshine gives us the scoop in her one, two, and three series.
And I randomly came across Allison/Savage Pink's wildly liberated stars. Wow. I've done wonky stars before, but nothing quite like this!
And finally, I saw a mention of the new Mollie Makes Social Media on Instagram, and hunted it right down. Lots of good info and things to think about considering your brand and its place in social media.
And though I couldn't get permission to share a photo of the Kantha quilting by Craft Forest, check it out. It's kind of mesmerizing.
That's it for this week! If there's something specific you'd like me to consider covering in The Scrap Basket, just drop me an email at aquilterstable@gmail.com.
