Here's what's happening this month at Gloucester Rd WI.

Chocolate!

This month we will be tasting chocolates courtesy of Zara's Chocolates

There will also be a range to buy including chocolate bars, buttons and truffle boxes, which will be from £4 - £6, and up to £18 for the truffles. Please remember to bring cash for any purchases, and don't eat too much dinner!

We will also be covering all our usual WI business including Centenary projects, an update on the very successful Redland Fair and details of other events that are coming up.

Venue: Bristol St Andrew's Bowling Club – entrance through the fence on Derby Road, just past Happy Lane.

We still start at 8pm but you can arrive from 7.30pm. You can also get a drink and have a mingle before and after the meeting as the bar will be open all evening.

Redland Fair

A huge success!

The Redland Fair was a phenomenal success and we raised over Â£850 for Jessie May. A massive thanks to everyone who helped out on the day and to those who made cakes.

An extra special mention to Rachel Mylrea who was chief organiser, she did a really impressive job getting everybody ready beforehand and organising on the day, well done!

Inspirational Women

Who are your most inspirational women?

At the July meeting we will be asking you to nominate your inspirational women. They might be family or friends or maybe someone more well known. You'll need to provide a picture of them and bring it along to the meeting. Each member will be able to nominate two women – so start thinking now!

WI Centenary Project Update

Bunting

The first 25 lettered and numbered pennants looked wonderful at the Redland Green Fair and we are looking forward to seeing the full 100! We only need about 30 more pennants, they don't need to be perfect, so give it a go!

Here's the instructions and an A4 template, please have them ready by the June meeting.
