That's a Wrap!


Winnimere season is a wrap! Our production this season ended a couple weeks earlier than years past, at the end of February. We're shipping out the very last of those wheels this week and moving on to warmer, sunnier things: grass growing in our pastures, the bright yellow of daffodils in our gardens, the waking of honeybees, rain showers instead of snowstorms! Our Cellars are full of our other seasonal cheese, Willoughby, which tastes like a burst of springtime with its fruity & yogurty flavors. 

As of right now, there are a very few wheels of Winnimere still available via our website - less than a dozen - so if you're quick you might still snag one for your table this week. We do expect these to sell out right away, so we apologize if they're gone by the time you read this. We do recommend that you consume any Winnimere you come across as soon as possible, whether it's a wheel you ordered from us or one you found at a local cheesemonger. This seasonal cheese is best when consumed within 3 months of its production date (marked on every wheel in YYMMDD format), and beyond that it won't improve with extended storage.
