On April 23, 2015, HUD issued Notice HUD 2015-07: Funding Availability for Tenant-Protection Vouchers for Certain At-Risk Households in Low-Vacancy Areas - Fiscal Year 2015.  This Notice provides current guidance on applying for a special allotment of Tenant Protection Vouchers (TPVs) for certain assisted multifamily properties in low-vacancy areas where tenants are at risk of displacement.

This Notice describes the eligibility, selection, and funding process for this TPV set-aside funding in FY 2015. The TPV assistance may be received as either portable Enhanced Vouchers or Project-Based Vouchers. A total of $7 million in TPV assistance is available on a rolling basis, and eligible owners may submit applications to their local Multifamily Hub Director/Regional Director or Program Center Director/Satellite Office Coordinator.
