Volume 21 Number 27 05/07/2015

I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me - the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.  Acts 20:24
MISSION STATEMENT
Heritage School provides a distinctive classical Christ-centered education that prepares students for servant leadership and lives that glorify God.

Grammar School Village

K—Our classes are so thrilled, the butterflies have emerged from their chrysalis.  It was an amazing transformation for the students to see.
1-- The children are really looking forward to seeing the Monet Paintings at the McNay Art Museum especially since they have been matching twelve of his different paintings to their correct names.
2-- We enjoyed the Symphony "Billy the Kid"  with first grade on Tuesday.  We've also started our last unit in Texas History on "Cowboys and Cattle Drives".
3--Third graders  made a pond habitat this week.
4---We are learning about Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.
5---We are writing paragraphs this week comparing two characters from our book Bronze Bow, Daniel and Rosh.

The grammar school would like to recognize Josh Hoermann for having outstanding character during lunch “recess.”  He is a great example of having the “fruit of the spirit” in all he does.
