A note from Kim Read, our Program and Marketing Director:

"It is with a heavy heart I must tell you that I am leaving Pink Lemonade Project.  My husband has received a company promotion which is moving us to Charlotte, North Carolina. Although I am sad to be leaving, I am also looking forward to being a stay at home mom with our new baby girl, Emma. The past two and a half years with Pink Lemonade Project have been wonderful and rewarding. I sincerely appreciate having the opportunity to support those affected by breast cancer.  Thank you for the support and encouragement you provided during my time here at Pink Lemonade Project.  It has been an honor to serve our community."

We thank Kim for her time here at Pink Lemonade Project.  We wish her well and will miss her!

We would also like to introduce you to the new Program and Marketing Director, Brittany Pratt who is a community volunteer and resident of Vancouver.  Originally from University Place, WA, Brittany is passionate both about the Clark County community and supporting those who have battled cancer, as Brittany’s mother is a two-time breast cancer survivor.  Having supported and nurtured her mother during those difficult times, Brittany knows all too well the personal challenges that those battling cancer must face.

Since relocating to Vancouver in early 2013, Brittany has spent the past two years volunteering for the Humane Society for Southwest Washington.  Prior to relocating to Vancouver, Brittany developed her marketing and entrepreneurial spirit as the sole proprietor of her own retail home accessories business, Luxe Home, in University Place, WA.  While a sole proprietor, Brittany managed all aspects of her business including sales and marketing plans, advertising, and customer service.  Brittany holds a degree in Marketing and Business Management from Western Washington University. Brittany enjoys spending time with her husband, Jason (who works for Waste Connections, Inc. in Vancouver), their Labrador, Harley, playing volleyball, and is an avid Seattle Mariners and Seahawks fan.

Happy Mother's Day!

Join us and celebrate mothers this Saturday, May 9th, for our Pink Link Fit Mother's Day walk! Meet at 9:00 am at WSUV Trail (14204 NE Salmon Creek Ave, Vancouver, WA 98686). These monthly walks are open to all those affected by breast cancer. We walk rain our shine! Bring your momma and/or daughters!

Last chance to apply for the June 5-7, 2015 breast cancer survivors retreat!

Our restorative retreats, professionally led by licensed clinical social workers and psychologists, are for those affected by breast cancer to relax, rejuvenate and restore their lives in meaningful ways. Unlike many support groups, our retreats do not make cancer the focus, we make you the focus.  You will be surrounded by individuals who understand the impact a cancer diagnosis has and have walked many miles in your shoes.  You will start out as strangers and walk away with a tribe who will support your fight, understand your obstacles and cheer your victories.
